Earning of the member gets vanished when priceless animal-herd dies either due to disease or by any other mean. In order to see continuation of the income, Union is supporting insurance scheme of animals. Under this scheme, 4169 animals under 800 milk societies were insured. Necessary premium was paid to Insurance firm; and upon getting approval of 390 insurance claims, amount of Rs. 7930000.00 have been paid to members.
We have covered up 3155 members of various societies through Janata Personal Accident Policy. Four of these members died in accidents, so, Rs.400,000 have been compensated. |
