In order to improve soil fertility and produce good quality crops, Sumul has established worm compost Unit at Navipardi, Bajipura and Uchchhal Chilling Centre. This is one of the biggest worm compost Unit in Surat District. Objective behind this worm compost activity is to educate farmer and encourage them to use bio fertilizer. This bio fertilizer is packed under 'Sumul Worm compost' Brand. In all, we have produced 6043 bags worm compost during the fiscal year. Over and above, 12 member producers have commissioned their own worm compost fertilizer units. This is a matter of pride for all of us, so will become inspiration to other farmers.
